Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, fully. We carry comprehensive commercial general liability and specialized animal care insurance. Most wedding venues require proof of vendor insurance before permitting outside attendants or animals on the property; we are happy to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) directly to your venue or wedding planner upon booking.
What if my dog is high-energy, anxious, or easily overstimulated?
Weddings are sensory-rich environments, and our entire approach is designed around your dog’s comfort threshold. We monitor body language closely, enforce quiet decompression walks away from crowds, and never force an interaction or a photo cue. During our pre-wedding coordination, we review their specific triggers, calming cues, and favorite treats so our attendant can serve as a steady, reassuring anchor all day.
How does transportation work on the wedding day?
Safe, climate-controlled transportation can be seamlessly integrated into your coverage. Whether picking your pup up from your home, moving between getting-ready suites and the venue, or providing post-ceremony drop-off back to your hotel or boarder, we ensure they travel comfortably and safely.
How do you coordinate with our wedding planner and photographer?
Prior to your wedding day, we review your final itinerary and connect with your planner, day-of coordinator, and photographer. We align on photo shot lists, ceremony pacing, and exact aisle cues in advance so your pet handling integrates effortlessly into the vendor run-of-show without adding friction or delays.
How does the booking and planning timeline work?
Once you reach out via our inquiry form, we confirm availability, provide a quote and schedule a brief consultation to discuss your vision and your dog's routine. To secure your date on our calendar, we require a signed agreement and a retainer. Four to six weeks prior to your wedding, we finalize your minute-by-minute timeline, contact sheets, and customized care plan.
What should we pack or provide for our attendant?
We ask that you supply your dog’s favorite harness, leash, preferred high-value treats, and any required meals or medications. We come equipped with everything else: waist-worn treat pouches, odor-free waste bags, collapsible water bowls, lint rollers, and fresh water.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Because we exclusively reserve your attendant and limit the number of weddings we take per weekend, our initial booking retainer is non-refundable.
Once the final payment is processed, it becomes non-refundable as well, as your attendant’s schedule, route, and care plan are fully committed to your day. If you need to reschedule prior to your final balance due date, we will gladly apply your retainer to a new date within the calendar year, subject to attendant availability.
What areas do you service, and do you travel?
We primarily serve weddings and celebrations across New York, New Jersey, and throughout New England.
That said, we love to travel and are available for destination celebrations worldwide. Whether your wedding is in the Hudson Valley, coastal New England, or across the country, custom travel arrangements can be seamlessly integrated into your coverage.
